Planning permission for this £3.2 million development was granted in December 2019.

This development, in partnership with Rhondda Cynon Taff Council, has provided 18 homes for affordable rent on Castellau Road in Beddau.

Work started on the site in June 2021 by Encon Construction Ltd. 

This development contains 8 one bedroom flats, 4 two bedroom houses, 4 three bedroom houses and 2 four bedroom houses.

In response to Welsh Governments desire for Registered Social Landlords to utilise Modern Methods of Construction in their development programmes, we have used Off Site Manufactured system working with Castleoak timber frame, with a view to maximising the offsite construction of the units utilising a timber frame, Structural Insulated Panels (SIPs) approach.
