This development, in partnership with Rhondda Cynon Taff County Borough Council, is a joint venture with Castell Group Ltd, and it is set to deliver 20 much-needed affordable housing units in the heart of Tonyrefail, Rhondda Cynon Taff. Planning permission for this development was granted in June 2023.
The development will consist of:
12 x 2-person one bedroom flats.
3 x 4-person two bedroom houses.
5 x 5-person three bedroom houses
Construction work has already started by Castell Group Ltd. It is hoped that the scheme will be completed in the summer of 2025.
These homes are designed to meet the latest environmental standards and will have an energy-efficient A-rated EPC due to a non-fossil fuel heating system.
The scheme received funding from the Welsh Government Social Housing Grant Programme to address the local housing needs.
