Working in partnership with the Vale of Glamorgan Council, planning permission for this £3.3 million development was granted in November 2019.
This development provides 28 homes, including 3 adapted flats, for affordable rent in the desirable seaside town of Barry.
Work started on the site in March 2021 by Sterling Construction Ltd.
The scheme received funding from the Welsh Government Land for Housing in order to address the local housing needs.
The site was formerly owned by Brains Pubs and was acquired by Newydd as part of a portfolio of 3 sites. Previous to redevelopment the building was utilised labour club.
