We're excited to announce a new housing development at the site of the former Cwmbach Primary School in partnership with Cosgrove and Rhondda Cynon Taf Council, with funding from the Welsh Government Social Housing Grant Programme.
This development will offer 17 two bedroom bungalows built to the highest energy efficiency rating EPC A with non-fossil fuelled heating systems and solar panels. This will keep environmental impact low and energy bills affordable for residents in the long-term.
The timber frame structures for this housing development will be built by Celtic Offsite merely 15 miles away. This investment will support local jobs and skills but will also help achieve our goal to produce a sustainable and energy efficient housing development.
A sustainable drainage system will also be incorporated into the development, part of which will include a wildflower area to enhance the biodiversity of the site.
