Neath Port Talbot

Glynneath

Glynneath is a small town lying on the River Neath in the county borough of Neath Port Talbot. Glynneath became industrialised in 1793 with coal mining and expanded when Neath Canal arrived in 1775. Today, many parts of the old canal still exist.

In the northeast, you can find stunning waterfalls near Pontneddfechan, close to the Brecon Beacons. The rural areas around Glynneath have plenty of forests, making it a perfect place for walkers, photographers, and anyone who loves the countryside.

Our properties

We have one housing estate in county called Maes Yr Eglwys, found in Glynneath. This was one of the first housing estates that we built in the mid-1970s and includes a mixture of houses and flats. It is next to the A465 road (Heads of the Valleys), providing easy access to Swansea and the nearby area.
