Cardiff, Wales’ Capital city, offers a startling range of unique attractions, top class entertainment and quality shopping with a difference – all within walking distance. Innovative architecture sits alongside historic buildings and Cardiff Bay offers entertainment for everyone. Its rich culture has a diverse range of influences, from the Romans and Normans of antiquity to the industrial revolution and the coal industry – which transformed Cardiff from a small town into a thriving, international city. Lying at the centre of three river systems, the Taff, the Ely and the Rhymney, the city centre has now been regenerated since its decline in the 1970's and 1980's. Cardiff Bay is now a thriving waterside development, and the construction of the Millennium Stadium in the city centre helped transformed Cardiff into a true European capital city.
Newydd has a small number of homes in Cardiff spread across 4 areas: Ely, St Mellons, Thornhill and Tongwynlais. The homes are a mixture of houses and flats and all have good access links to local facilities and the city centre.
