We're working with our colleagues at Cadarn to try and ensure that every child at their supported housing hostels wakes up to a gift on Christmas morning.
Around 3,000 children in Wales will wake up in temporary accommodation this Christmas. Your kindness can make a real difference in ensuring a magical day.

Newydd is working hard to lessen the impact of our homes on the climate – and a key part of this work is our optimised retrofit programme (ORP) to reduce emissions.
ORP Is a Welsh Government initiative to make homes more environmentally friendly, tackle fuel poverty, reduce bills, and to improve living conditions for tenants. Between April and September 2025, Action Fraud has received 2,790 crime reports relating to Winter Fuel Payment scams, with victims reporting losses totalling over £27,000.
Winter Fuel Payments are made automatically, you do not need to do anything. If you receive any text messages about Winter Fuel Payments, it’s a scam.
