Out‑Of‑Hours Service – Your Feedback

Thank you to everyone who took part in last month’s question about our out‑of‑hours emergency service. We received 148 responses, and we're really pleased to share that 95% of you were satisfied with the waiting time when reporting an emergency.
We regularly review your feedback to make sure our services are working well, so it’s great to hear that most customers are finding it easy to get through to us when they need help urgently.
There will always be times of high demand, such as during severe weather. If you ever struggle to get through by phone, you can also report an emergency using the online form below.

And the winners are…
Congratulations to Lee from Barry and Kevin from Cardiff on winning our £25 raffle draw after answering last month’s Question of the Month. Remember to enter this month via the story below for your chance to win this month’s vouchers.
Question Of The Month - Answer To Enter £25 Voucher Draw
Once again, you can enter our £25 voucher draw by answering our short questions. This month we want to know:
- Housing Associations deliver many services. Which one is most important to you?
- And, what is the most classic last minute Mother’s Day gift?

We're Recruiting

Cadarn Group is growing, and we’re looking for brilliant people to join our team and make our communities an even better place to live in! We’re currently recruiting for two full‑time roles:
Independent Living Officer (£26,105–£27,478, closing 27 March 2026)
Maintenance Supervisor (£41,800–£44,000, closing 23 March 2026).
If you’re passionate about making a positive difference in our communities - or know someone who is - click here to see our current vacancies.
Action On Fly Tipping

Newydd is taking firm action to tackle fly‑tipping in our communities and we’re currently working closely with Rhondda Cynon Taf County Borough Council’s Waste Enforcement Team to address ongoing issues in Talbot Green.
Thanks to joint investigations, three residents have been identified for fly‑tipping and have each been issued a Section 46 Notice under the Environmental Protection Act. We’ll continue to work with the Council to keep our neighbourhoods clean, safe and enjoyable for everyone.
Free Mindfulness Course With eCymru

Newydd is excited to partner with eCymru to offer 4 Weeks of Mindfulness, starting Thursday 9 April.
The sessions will be led by an experienced teacher who has spent over 30 years delivering mindful compassion meditation across the UK and internationally, including work with a local hospice and the Macmillan cancer charity. Over four weeks, you’ll explore the theory and science behind mindful compassion, try simple practices, and discover how mindfulness can support a healthier, happier life. Everyone is welcome to join and give it a try.
