You’ll shortly receive your Rent Increase Notice by post which will outline rent and service charge changes for the next 12 months. You may be wondering how we calculate any increases, and we always want to be clear and open on any decisions which affect residents.
Click the link below to find out more about the several factors which affect our decision including Welsh Government Rent Settlement, affordability, resident feedback, value for money, and more.
If you’re struggling to pay your rent, we’re here to help and our dedicated Financial Inclusion Teams can offer specialist advice. Please contact us without delay via the contact details in the link if you need any support.

Service Charges - What's Covered And What's Not
Service charges cover the cost of maintaining communal areas in blocks of flats or on estates. The charges vary from scheme to scheme but often cover services such as grounds maintenance, cleaning, fire alarms and door entry systems. We calculate the charges annually to ensure are as accurate as possible and fairly reflect the services provided to you.
Click the link below to watch our brand new service charges video and find out everything you need to know on what’s covered under the charges and how they’re calculated.

New Funding for Visually Impaired Tenants and Support Opportunities
We are delighted to announce that Cadwyn and Newydd Housing Associations have received funding to enhance digital inclusion and better support our visually impaired tenants.
Please note that this is currently a pilot program, and we’re focusing this support specifically in the Cardiff and Rhondda Cynon Taf areas.
Our program includes access to essential devices, internet connectivity, and assistive technology tools to help you confidently navigate the online world.
If you or someone you know could benefit from this support, you can self-refer by completing a short form online. A member of our team will then contact you to go over your responses and coordinate suitable location, date and time for support to take place.
