Question Of The Month - Answer For the Chance To Win £25 Voucher

Thank you to everyone who took part in our first Questions of the Month. We received 95 responses across Cadarn, and congratulations to John from Cardiff and Dianne from Llandrindod Wells who won our £25 raffle draw for the taking part.
The results are fantastic!
- 94% of respondents told us they know who to contact if they need help with anything related to their home.
- 98% said they know how to get in touch with us.
- And 60% said they were still sticking to their New Year’s resolutions.
We’re really pleased to hear this — and here’s a quick reminder of all the ways you can contact us.

Once again, you can enter our £25 voucher draw by answering our short questions. This month we want to know:
- If you’ve used our out of hours service, were you satisfied with the waiting time?
- And, which team do you support in the 6 Nations?
Answer our question of the month here.
Employment Opportunities For Residents Recently Release From Prison

Newydd is teaming with local partners for a new service to help residents who’ve recently been released from prison to develop stable lives, employment and tenancies.
The scheme is open to anyone living in a Newydd home who:
- Has left prison within the last 12 months;
- Is currently unemployed;
- And has at least one dependent child under the age of 18.
Through this project, we’ve secured roles with an excellent employer in the waste management sector directly involved in the development of the new Velindre Cancer Hospital in Cardiff. This company is committed to employing, training, and upskilling participants with the aim of making all work placements permanent.
Alongside the employment opportunity, our partner organisations will provide a comprehensive package of wrap‑around support, which may include:
- Money and budgeting advice;
- Familial and wellbeing support;
- Digital and employability support;
- Other tailored interventions to help individuals sustain employment.
Employment will begin in mid-March 2026 so, if interested for yourself or someone else living in a Newydd home, please email Lee.Dunn@newydd.co.uk for more information at the earliest opportunity.
We're Recruiting!

We’re hiring for roles across the Cadarn Group in both Cadwyn and Newydd Housing Associations to support our new Cadarn structure. With a variety of roles across a range of teams, take a look to see if these are the ideal roles for you or someone you know. Keep an eye out in the monthly newsletter, our website, and social media channels as we’ll be adding any available roles to deliver an even better service for our residents.
