We are excited to offer you opportunities to get involved and help shape Newydd’s future. Please see the roles available below as well as tenant groups you can join.

Join our Board and earn from £3,500 a year*

Our proposed partnership with Cadwyn Housing Association will provide you with the opportunity to become a member of the Board. The Board will focus on performance and service delivery. Are you interested?

We are looking for tenants to join the Newydd Housing Association Board. As a Board Member, you will:

• Bring your perspective and lived experience to discussions.
• Learn new skills and contribute to important decisions.
• Help improve our services and communities.
• Training and support will be provided to all successful candidates.

Meetings: The Newydd Board meets 4 times a year, some virtual and some in person, normally early evening. Some extra time may be needed for training and other Board events.

Term: Initially a term of 3 years, with the possibility of serving up to 9 years.

*Remuneration: From £3,500 per year. If you are in receipt of benefits, you may want to check what impact this income may have on what you receive. Our Financial Inclusion Team can help you with this or you can use a benefit calculator such as Entitled To or Turn2us.

Join our Tenant Panel and get £25 vouchers for each meeting

We are also forming a new Tenant Panel of 10 members to discuss service delivery, tenant satisfaction and more. Some meetings will be in person and some virtual and they will be held every two months.

Remuneration: £25 shopping voucher per meeting attended.
