Celebrating our Maintenance Team

A big round of applause to our incredible Maintenance Team for earning 32 perfect 10 out of 10 scores from you last week for their repairs!

But that's not all – we're absolutely delighted that 18 of you took the time to write positive comments about our operatives. Your kind words mean the world to us and keep us motivated to deliver the best service every day.

Let's give a special shout-out to two members of our team:

Anthony: "He did an amazing job fixing my toilet. He came early so I didn't need to wait in all day. He was quick doing the repair but did it properly. He was very clean doing the job and was friendly."

Glenn: "He was very polite and explained what he was doing. Fantastic member of staff."

If you’d like to report a repair you can do so via:

Our community benefits fund

We’ve donated £750 to Barry Athletic Football Club! This generous contribution was made possible thanks to the support of Cartrefi Ltd, our contractors who developed the Windsor Hotel on Holton Road in Barry. We're grateful for their assistance in funding our community benefits initiative, which enables us to support important community projects like this one.

The donation has gone towards the installation of a safety barrier around the main pitch. This upgrade has greatly enhanced the safety of the pitch and improved the overall experience for players and visitors.

The main pitch holds a special place in the community, serving as the heart of the town and playing a vital role in the club's growth and development.

What did we get up to during anti-social behaviour week?

During Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) week in July, our Safer Communities Officers, Sarah and Kay, were very busy visiting different areas in the community to talk about your ASB concerns. They worked with South Wales Police during one of their visits.

They covered a lot of ground, visiting Penarth, Gwlad Du Gwyrdd, Gilfach Goch, Junction House, Newbourne Place, Clos y Glowyr, and Nant Arian.  They knocked on 70 doors and surveyed 22 of you. If we didn't get to meet you or didn't visit your area during the week, don't worry! We're still here for you.

If you have any concerns about anti-social behaviour or anything else, please contact us. Your feedback is essential, and we're here to listen and take action.
