Maintenance update 15-03-2021
With the positive news that businesses could slowly be reopening over the next couple of months, Newydd is now in the position to plan routine repair work for our tenants. Please report your repair via My Newydd - if you do not have an account please click here on how you can sign up to report repairs, pay your rent, or for general information.
If you have made a non-urgent repair request during the Tier 4 restrictions, you are asked to re-submit your request.
Please note all emergency and urgent jobs reported during the lock-down are recorded on our system and will not need re-reporting.
Once you report your repair, our customer service team will start to plan the repair work with our maintenance team. We will not be planning any non-urgent repair work before the 12th of April 2021 as we will continue to follow the Welsh Government Guidelines.

We will continue with any planned Health & Safety compliance work until further updates from the Welsh Government.

All of our staff have been made aware of the current guidance and are ensuring that the highest possible hygiene standards are maintained.
Any staff member who needs to self-isolate will be required to do so and will not come into contact with tenants.
We will continue to ask you questions when we arrive at your home. We will keep this information confidential and only provide it to those who have a legitimate right to know it. We need this information to ensure your safety as well as the safety of our staff. This also gives you the opportunity to keep 2 meters away from our operative and isolate yourself in another room during the emergency repair to ensure social distancing.
We have personal protection equipment including masks, gloves, overshoes, overalls and hand sanitiser. What we use depends on guidance at the time and whether you have coronavirus symptoms, we will check this with you when you call us. If you would like our staff to wear a mask when visiting your home please let us know when booking an appointment and also when we arrive at your home.
We appreciate that this is a very stressful time and that the disruption being caused is real and significant. We are aware that some tenants may find their income affected and may struggle to pay their rent on time. If your ability to pay your rent is affected, then please contact us so we can discuss options with you. Our priority is to keep tenants safe and in their homes.
