HAPI Project: Academic Evaluation Project
The HAPI 2 project (Healthy, Aspiring, Prosperous and Inclusive) project is a five-year health and wellbeing project based in Rhonnda Cynon Taff which is funded by the Big Lottery People and Places fund.
The people targeted for the HAPI project will live in Rhydyfelin, Hawthorn, Tonteg, Beddau, Llantrisant and the Cynon Valley.
In addition to a range of ongoing, internal quantitative and qualitative monitoring and evaluation, an ongoing and formal end of project academic evaluation will need to be undertaken by an independent external evaluator.
This evaluation will set outcomes relating to the project being addressed, the evaluation will also specially examine how well the project had addressed equality issues. Given the target group of this project, the issues of equality are central.
To read the full specification document, click here. We would expect the successful bidder to adhere to the following conditions in accepting this tender:
- To work with closely with the HAPI Project staff and in particular, the senior project officer and community regeneration manager at Newydd Housing Association
- To begin delivery as soon as practically possible with the final agreed report being handed over by 31st December 2022 (subject to change)
- To deliver an interim progress report at 18 months of the project's life cycle
- The successful bidder will be paid a set amount to include all expenses related to carrying out the requirements of the brief
The contract price agreed will be inclusive of VAT and expenses. There is a budget of up to £20,000 available for this tender. Closing date for tender submissions is Monday 11th June 2018.
