Valleys Home Choice Housing Register

During summer 2012 there will be a new way of allocating homes in Rhondda Cynon Taff (RCT) and all applications for social housing in the borough will be held on a single housing waiting list. The waiting list will be administered by RCT Council.

Newydd Housing Association will be joining the single register during summer 2012 and we are writing to let you know what will be happening with the arrangements to let our homes until the new register is launched.

As from 1st April 2011 Newydd closed the Valleys Home Choice waiting list for new applicants in RCT. New applicants after this date need to make an application direct to the current common housing register with RCT here.

After 1st June 2011 all our empty homes will be let in partnership with RCT Council until the new register is launched in during summer 2012.

Newydd will continue to operate a separate waiting list for properties in the Neath Port Talbot area.
