Ffordd Elin, Barry

Three new adapted homes in Ffordd Elin, Barry were completed in November 2011 by Weston Contractors. Each of the three homes have additional benefits such as automated window openers, stairlifts, kitchen adaptations, wet rooms and bathroom adaptations to suit the families.

In March 2012 the Considerate Constructors Scheme awarded Weston Contractors with a bronze award for the construction of Ffordd Elin. This award highlighted their excellent approach and consideration towards their neighbours, their workforce and the environment during construction.

Jacksons Quay, Barry

Completed in 2011 this prestigious development of 70 new homes has won a Vale of Glamorgan Building Control Award. The contemporary design and waterside location creates a fantastic new community for our tenants.  

Court Road and Bethel Chapel, Barry

Completed in 2010 this development saw a former chapel refurbished to create 7 new apartments alongside 4 new townhouses built to provide much needed family accommodation in the area. Awarded a Vale of Glamorgan Building Control award in 2010 the scheme was sensitively designed to incorporate the chapel and the contemporary designed houses to create a fabulous living space for our tenants.

Liddon Court, Tynant, Beddau

16 new homes were built in Tynant by local contractor Colwest and completed in December 2010. The scheme of 12 apartments and 4 houses transformed a former derelict site into a new housing scheme in the heart of the community.

Trem Yr Afon, Pwllgwaun, Pontypridd

6 houses were built by local developer Davies Homes and completed in 2010. The homes were the first to achieve  our accredited RNIB Cymru Visibly Better Accreditation specification.
